On August 17, 2024, Susan Yijuan Yan, 46, was fatally shot in her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. near 130th Street and Shea Boulevard. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Yan with a gunshot wound in the hallway outside the master bedroom. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
