In the late summer of 2024, the community of Tucson, Arizona, was shaken by the tragic death of Santiago Jimenez Herrera, a 36-year-old Hispanic man. On the afternoon of August 21st, his body was discovered in a desert area in the 7400 block of South Wilmot Road. Authorities who responded to a 9-1-1 call about a shooting just before 12:15 p.m. found Mr. Jimenez Herrera with gunshot trauma and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
