In the small community of Shelby, Nebraska, the life of 13-year-old Caucasian female Kimberlee "Kimmee" Paddock was remembered for her vibrant and active spirit. Born on November 13, 2004, in Osceola to Scott and Mary Paddock, she was a seventh-grade student at Shelby-Rising City Public Schools, where she was known as a good student and was active in sports. Her interests were varied and often took her outdoors, where she enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, and camping.
Kimberlee was also an avid fan of Raiders football and found pleasure in reading historical fiction.
A tragic event cut her young life short on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Kimberlee died at Genoa Community Hospital in Genoa as a result of a hunting accident.
