On February 26, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Northwest Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Ashley N. Stephens. The Douglas County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call and upon entering a residence near 134th and Meredith, they discovered Stephens deceased with an apparent gunshot wound.
