On a cold December evening in Bellevue, Nebraska, a young man's life was cut short in a violent encounter. The male victim, 19-year-old Randy Noe Garcia Ramos, was shot and killed on December 28, 2019. His death was the result of a robbery that tragically escalated to murder.
In the days that followed, an investigation led to the identification of three suspects. The primary suspect in the shooting was identified as Alfredo Dominguez III, a 22-year-old from Lincoln.
An arrest warrant was issued, charging him with first-degree murder, robbery, and various weapons counts. Dominguez was subsequently arrested in Lincoln without incident.
Two other teenagers were also implicated in the crime. A 17-year-old male, Bryan Beers-Cruz, and an unidentified 16-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of being accessories to the murder. Their apprehension came after a police chase involving a car that was reported stolen from Garcia Ramos. The pursuit ended when the stolen vehicle crashed, leading to the arrest of the two teens. Beers-Cruz was initially charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and use of a firearm to commit a felony. These charges were later amended to conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, theft by receiving stolen property, and accessory to a felony. Court documents indicated that while Beers-Cruz was involved in the robbery and present at the scene of the shooting, it was another individual who fired the fatal shot.
