Playontae A. Wilson, a 20-year-old Black male from Omaha, left home in the late hours of Saturday and never returned. In the early minutes of Sunday, September 27, 2020, officers raced to the Arbor Villa Apartments near South 61st and Arbor Streets after a shots-fired call around 1:21 a.m. They found Wilson at the complex, already beyond help, and began canvassing the courtyard and breezeways as neighbors peered from balconies into the flashing lights.
