Death by Force

In the late hours of August 15, 2022, tragedy struck in north-central Omaha, forever altering the lives of a local family. Iyantae Rigmaiden, an 18-year-old Black / African American male, was discovered inside a vehicle near the intersection of 66th Street and Hartman Avenue. The Omaha Police Department had been summoned to the area around 11:35 p.m. following reports of multiple gunshots. Upon their arrival, officers found the young man, who had sustained fatal injuries from the shooting.
