On July 13, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the deaths of Lisa Cannon, 55, and Marquesha Cannon, 30. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a call for a welfare check at a residence near 89th Court and Newport Plaza around 8:52 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of the two women inside the home.
