On July 19, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Deving Willis-Smith. The Omaha Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 2730 Whitmore Street shortly before 9 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Willis-Smith suffering from a gunshot wound.
