Black/African American male, age 16. On the night of December 28, 2013, a holiday party at the Brookside Community Center on the 900 block of Marrows Road in Newark, Delaware, spilled into the parking lot when a fight broke out. Amid the chaos, D'Andre Green, age 16, was outside the venue and tried to run as shots were fired. He was struck multiple times and later died of his injuries, turning a winter gathering into a crime scene that would haunt his family and the community for years.
