Jameir Vann-Robinson, a 20-year-old man from Smyrna, Delaware, was fatally shot just after 2 a.m. on May 13, 2018, after leaving a house party on the unit block of Mitscher Road in Dover. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found shell casings at the scene; a short time later, Vann-Robinson arrived at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead soon after.
