On July 6, 2020, Andre Hickson, a 37-year-old man from Wilmington, Delaware, was tragically found dead from gunshot wounds in the vicinity of the 100 block of East 23rd Street. Wilmington police officers responded to a report of a shooting around 3:30 a.m., where they discovered Hickson lying in the street with multiple gunshot injuries.
