Andre (Zaid) Terrell Emmanual Hickson

Andre Hickson, a 37-year-old Black/African American man, was shot on the evening of July 6, 2020, in Wilmington, Delaware, after violence broke out in the 800 block of East 13th Street. Police were called at about 6:09 p.m. and found him suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed from the scene to the hospital, but the injuries were too severe, and he died soon afterward. Early reports identified him as the victim in what was then an active fatal shooting investigation.
