On June 4, 2024, male victim William Whitehead, age 59, was killed during a shooting at Harmony at Kent Senior Living Center, 1435 East Lebanon Road, in Dover, Delaware. Delaware State Police identified the male victim, age 59, as William Whitehead of Frederica, Delaware; his ethnicity was not publicly released. Troopers were dispatched at approximately 5:25 p.m. for a trespassing call that escalated to gunfire, leaving the male victim, age 59, mortally wounded.
