On June 4, 2024, 26-year-old Jordaan Marquis Brummell was fatally shot on Saint Thomas Boulevard in Millsboro, Delaware. Officers from the Millsboro Police Department and Delaware State Police responded to the scene around 10:47 a.m., discovering Brummell with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
