On March 3, 1941, a tragic incident occurred in Lewiston, Maine, resulting in the deaths of four individuals from the same family. The victims were Flora Wentworth Currier, aged 60; her daughter, Pearl Wentworth Stevens, aged 59; Pearl's daughter, Pearl Stevens Pellerin, aged 20; and Pearl's son, George L. Stevens, aged 12.
