A woman is found dead outside a laundromat
On a chilly November morning in 1976, the quiet city of Lewiston, Maine, awoke to a grim discovery. The body of 27-year-old Dorothy L. "Dottie" Milliken, a female, was found outside Beal's Laundromat on Lisbon Street. A paperboy on his early morning route made the tragic discovery at approximately 4:40 a.m. on November 6th. Milliken had been brutally beaten to death, with an autopsy later confirming the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.
