On a summer evening in Portland, Maine, a dispute that began in a bar escalated into a fatal confrontation, leaving three young men dead. The events of June 24, 1997, cut short the life of 22-year-old Kevin Pinette, a male student at Southern Maine Technical College and an employee at Geary's Brewing Co.
