On July 25, 2011, in New Gloucester, Maine, 27-year-old Renee Susan Sandora was fatally shot outside her home. The perpetrator was Joel Hayden, her boyfriend and father of her four children. The incident occurred in the presence of their 7-year-old son. Hayden also shot and killed his friend, Trevor Mills, at the scene.

Following the shootings, Hayden fled but was apprehended after a high-speed chase that ended in a crash. In January 2013, he was convicted of two counts of murder. The f ...Read More
