On April 16, 2017, 36-year-old Terrance Durel Sr. of New Orleans was fatally shot outside a residence on Ohio Street in Bangor, Maine. The property was occupied by his estranged wife, Danielle Lane Durel, and her boyfriend, Antoinne "Prince" Bethea, a 40-year-old from New Haven, Connecticut. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., and Durel succumbed to his injuries later that evening at a local hospital.
