On the evening of July 30, 2024, a confrontation between two motorcycle clubs escalated into a deadly shooting in Portland, Maine. The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. near Morrill's Corner on Forest Avenue, resulting in four individuals being transported to Maine Medical Center. Among them was 54-year-old Susan McHugh of Gray, who succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest.
