On the evening of July 30, 2024, a shooting on Forest Avenue in Portland, Maine, claimed the life of 54-year-old Susan McHugh, a Caucasian female from the nearby town of Gray. The incident, which occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. near Morrill's Corner, resulted in injuries to three other individuals in addition to McHugh.
