On December 17, 2017, 69-year-old Dean Bradford Leckrone was found deceased in his Libby, Montana home from a gunshot wound. His wife, 62-year-old Connie Jean Leckrone, called 911 around 7:30 p.m., reporting that her husband had accidentally shot himself. Responding officers discovered Dean's body in a bedroom closet and a .44-caliber revolver with one spent casing in a dresser drawer, which Connie admitted to moving after finding her husband.
