On the evening of February 25, 2024, 17-year-old Keymere McCriston, a junior at Carter High School in Dallas, Texas, was fatally shot during a suspected robbery. McCriston, known for his impressive stature at 6 feet tall and 300 pounds, was a standout offensive lineman on the school's football team.
