John Araujo, a 53-year-old resident of Kalispell, Montana, was shot and killed on October 19, 2019. The incident occurred at a residence on Eighth Avenue West in Kalispell.

Araujo was inside the home of another Kalispell resident when the shooting took place. The homeowner admitted to shooting Araujo and contacted the Kalispell Police Department. Upon arrival, officers found Araujo deceased at the scene.
