Murdered

Peter Vanvallis, a 52-year-old resident of Hamilton, Montana, was shot and killed on February 26, 2021. The incident occurred during a verbal altercation with another man, identified as 43-year-old John Conway.

Conway fled the scene after the shooting but later surrendered to authorities and turned over a handgun. He claimed that Vanvallis also had a gun, but investigators did not find any weapons on the victim or in the house.
