Tonya Lynn Hart, a 21-year-old resident of Moscow, Idaho, was tragically shot to death in her home on December 11, 2001. Her fiancé, Jesse Linderman, was later arrested and charged with her murder.

Investigations revealed that Linderman had hired a coworker, David Meister, to kill Hart for $1,000. Meister carried out the act, shooting Hart twice – once in the heart and once in the head – at the mobile home she shared with Linderman.
