On a cold December night in 2001, the life of 21-year-old Tonya Lynn Hart, a White/Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in her Moscow, Idaho, mobile home. On December 11, a knock came at her back door. When she opened it, she was shot twice at point-blank range, once in the chest and once in the face. A neighbor, hearing the gunshots, found her bleeding on the floor and called 911, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
