In the quiet Boise, Idaho foothills, a tragic and unexpected event unfolded in early March 2015. Theodore M. Welp, an 80-year-old White male, along with his 77-year-old wife, Dolores Elaine, and their 52-year-old son, Thomas, were found deceased in their home on March 10. The scene that greeted law enforcement was described by the Ada County Sheriff as one of the most violent he had witnessed in his three decades of service.
