Kelly A. Pease, a 37-year-old nursing student and mother of five, was tragically found dead in her car on March 8, 2017. Her body was discovered in the parking lot of Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities quickly identified her ex-fiancé, 61-year-old Steven T. Denson, as the primary suspect in her murder. Denson had a documented history of domestic violence, with previous restraining orders filed against him by former partners.
