Darline Queen, a 76-year-old female resident, was tragically killed in a shooting that also left two other women, aged 79 and 58, injured. when police received reports of an active shooter at the apartment complex located near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Ustick Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with multiple victims. Among the deceased was Darline Queen.
The investigation quickly identified the perpetrator as 87-year-old Roger Nordberg, another resident of the Portstewart Senior Apartments.
