Hunter Smith, an 18-year-old from Junction City, Oregon, was tragically murdered on June 22, 2017, near Bruneau, Idaho. Smith, who was hitchhiking at the time, was picked up by a group of individuals.

The details of the murder are disturbing. Smith was shot at close range in the upper torso and face/head with a .45-caliber pistol by someone in the group.
