On a winter evening in Meridian, Idaho, the life of 40-year-old Heidi RaNae De Leon, a Caucasian female, was brought to a tragic and violent end. On January 6, 2019, her ex-husband, Edward Lynn Epps Jr., forced his way into the home she shared with her new husband, 47-year-old Jose "Joe" Paul De Leon. Armed with two handguns, Epps began shooting, creating a scene of terror that would leave three adults dead and forever alter the lives of the children present.
