On April 14, 2019, 19-year-old Briana Martinez was fatally shot during a confrontation outside her home on South Owyhee Street in Boise, Idaho. The incident began when Jessica Perez and Taja McMurtrey-Winn arrived at the residence to confront Natalie Martinez, Briana's sister, over a personal dispute.
