In the small town of Smelterville, Idaho, the life of 41-year-old Caucasian male Aaron "Snuffy" Blake Peterson was brought to a tragic and violent end on June 28, 2022. He was fatally shot multiple times in the back as he slept in the home he shared with his girlfriend of ten years, Stephanie Paris. For two days following the shooting, Paris concealed Peterson's body in their bedroom, telling others that he was unwell and wanted to be left alone.
