On August 24, 2023, in Bellevue, Idaho, 40-year-old Joshua Aladdin Blount Takacs was found deceased in his residence, the apparent victim of a homicide. Authorities responded to the scene around 6:03 a.m., where a confrontation ensued between a Bellevue Deputy Marshal and a suspect, resulting in an officer-involved shooting.
