On March 15, 2017, 33-year-old James LaPrade was fatally shot in his home on Oakwood Road in Farmington, New Hampshire. Responding to a 911 call, police discovered LaPrade deceased from a gunshot wound to the head. A woman, later identified as Denise Belyea, was also found at the scene with gunshot injuries but survived.
