A couple is stabbed to death and then their home set on fire
On February 16, 1991, James Moore, 73, and his long-time friend and roommate, Stella Bolton, 68, were found dead in their home at 74 Rockhill Avenue in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both victims had been brutally stabbed before their house was set on fire. The fire, which broke out around 1:30 a.m., destroyed much of the small bungalow, but firefighters soon discovered their bodies inside.
