On a crisp autumn day in Brentwood, New Hampshire, a day meant for outdoor pursuits turned into a scene of tragedy. Christopher Shewokis, a 51-year-old White male from Sandown, lost his life on November 4, 2017, in what was determined to be a firearms accident. An avid outdoorsman with a passion for activities like hunting and fishing, he had gone to the Deer Run Wildlife Management Area for some target practice, accompanied by an adult friend and a juvenile.
