In the pre-dawn hours of October 2, 2021, a distressing 911 call shattered the quiet of the Alton Woods apartment complex in Concord, New Hampshire. A woman's voice on the line reported that she had just shot her husband, 31-year-old Cody Tewell, a Caucasian male. The caller alleged that her husband had been strangling her during a violent domestic dispute, leading her to use a firearm in self-defense.
