On October 8, 2019, 34-year-old Nicholas Louras of Rutland, Vermont, was found deceased along Vermont Route 53 in Salisbury. The discovery of his body was linked to an earlier officer-involved shooting in Rutland involving his cousin, Christopher G. Louras.
