African-American/Black male Tion Price, 19, was shot just after midnight on March 31, 2019, outside an apartment building in the 300 block of Oklahoma Street in East Anchorage. Officers found three people injured: one adult male who had been shot in the upper body and died at the scene, later identified as 19-year-old Tion Price; another adult male with life-threatening gunshot wounds; and an adult woman who had been assaulted and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
