On October 15, 2023, 21-year-old Eric White of Chicopee, Massachusetts, was reported missing alongside his friend, 21-year-old Jahim Solomon of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The two had been traveling together in Vermont, visiting areas including Burlington, Lowell, Morrisville, and Stowe. Their families lost contact with them for several days, prompting reports to the Stowe Police Department and the Vermont State Police.
