On June 17, 2020, 44-year-old Tanya D. Gagnon was found deceased in her Woonsocket, Rhode Island, apartment. Authorities determined that her boyfriend, 43-year-old Charles Johnson, fatally shot her before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide. A cat was also found shot to death in the apartment, while a dog was discovered unharmed.
