Black male Laron Roberts, age 36, was found late on the morning of April 28, 2019, inside a parked vehicle along the 1000 block of East 20th Avenue in Anchorage, near Woodside Park by Chester Creek. Police were called at approximately 10:13 a.m., and responding officers located the 36-year-old deceased in the car. Observations at the scene prompted detectives and the Crime Scene Team to respond.
