Timothy David Vickerman, 36, a Rapid City resident, died on March 3, 2014. In the predawn hours, a Rapid City police officer noticed a pickup at a gas station on Omaha Street. When the officer checked the driver's status, records indicated the man behind the wheel—Vickerman—had a revoked license and was on parole for felony DUI.
