On June 17, 2016, 23-year-old Kiawe Anthony Walker was fatally shot in Rapid City, South Dakota. After sustaining a gunshot wound, Walker entered a local Burger King restaurant seeking assistance. Despite emergency responders' efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
