On December 17, 2019, 30-year-old Sloane Bull Bear was fatally shot in the back of the head at a residence in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The incident occurred during a gathering at the home of William Reddy, where several individuals, including Bull Bear and Colton Bagola, were present. Witnesses testified that as some attendees prepared to leave the house, Bagola positioned himself directly behind Bull Bear and discharged a firearm at close range, resulting in Bull Bear's death.
