On November 24, 2020, 19-year-old Ocean Sun Eberlein was fatally shot at a mobile home near Rapid City, South Dakota. The incident occurred around 10:37 p.m. and was reported by a neighbor who heard gunfire. Upon arrival, authorities found Eberlein unresponsive with a gunshot wound; he was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
