Murdered

On December 24, 2020, 31-year-old Vernall Marshall was fatally shot in Rapid City, South Dakota. The incident occurred during a purported drug transaction that escalated into a confrontation. Marshall sustained two gunshot wounds to the back and was found lying in the street by responding officers. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
