On September 20, 2021, in Rapid City, South Dakota, 4-year-old Russel Dean Reeves and his mother, 26-year-old Trisha Paxson-Dennett, were found deceased in their home. The Rapid City Police Department responded to a 911 call made by a relative who discovered their bodies.
