On the evening of September 30, 2024, in Rapid City, South Dakota, a shooting incident occurred inside an apartment on the 4000 block of Range Road. Eighteen-year-old Marquise Walker was one of three males who sustained injuries and were subsequently transported to the hospital for medical attention. Tragically, Marquise, a male, succumbed to his injuries the following day, on October 1, 2024.
