In the early hours of Sunday, July 16, 2006, female, 19-year-old Amber Nicole Carlson, a University of Wyoming nursing student from Denver, was found dead inside an off-campus house near the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Authorities later announced on July 19, 2006, that the case was a double murder-suicide. 19-year-old Amber Nicole Carlson was one of three students found deceased at the residence.
